The Swans have signed Scott McDonald and Matt Parcells to new contracts, signing all four players to two-year deals.
The club said McDonald will be the club’s third-highest-paid player in the AFL.
He will earn $1.7 million over the two-and-a-half-year deal, while Parcells will receive a $1 million salary over the next two years.
McDonald’s contract includes an injury guarantee.
He had been contracted to the Swans until the end of 2021.
McDonald played four games in 2017 and averaged 23 disposals and three marks per game in his first season.
He missed four matches with a hamstring injury.
Parcells made 37 appearances for the Swamps in 2017, tallying 26 possessions and eight marks.
McDonald made his AFL debut in round 17, 2016 against Richmond at the MCG, kicking two goals in the Swades’ first match.
He then made his debut in Round 10, 2016 versus Adelaide at Adelaide Oval, kicking a goal in the final quarter to secure his first Swans debut.
The Swades signed Parcells, who played 19 games for Adelaide in 2017 before retiring at the end
