A nursing assistant in Virginia is being charged with two counts of indecent assault and two counts each of two counts related to a sexual assault, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday.
The investigation began in February after a female patient complained to the hospital and asked to see a nurse for treatment, according to a news release.
She said the nurse touched her inappropriately and touched herself.
The woman told investigators that the nurse gave her oral sex and a massage, and then the nurse performed oral sex on her.
She said the patient was unable to give consent to the massage because she had been on prescription medication for a health condition and had left the room and was not wearing a mask, the release stated.
The nurse, who was not identified, has been suspended without pay pending the outcome of the investigation, according a release.
The sheriff’s office did not release the nurse’s name.
